Currency funds fall in June

Those that managed to buck the trend included top performer, Quantitative Financial Strategies of Stamford, which was up 8.05%. Compucom Finance based in Zurich, Switzerland, reported that short-term trading helped it to positive returns of 3.76%.

"During June we were in a short-term trading mode," said Jens Kothes, principal of Compucom Finance in Zurich. "The bulk of profits came from a few short euro-long dollar positions." Compucom made an average of one trade per day during the month, Kothes
