Welsh rings HSBC changes

Bryan Lynskey left the firm two weeks ago (July 7) to join Merrill Lynch in New York, while Neil Conde left to join Citigroup on July 9.

The new additions are both ex- colleagues of Welsh’s, who joined the bank in January from Goldman Sachs (FX Week, January 13).

Dan O’Sullivan, who joined HSBC as chief trader for spot and forwards from CSFB earlier this year (FX Week, March 3) had worked with Welsh at Goldman Sachs in the late 1990s.

William Abraham, who joined HSBC from Deutsche Bank on April 1
