UBS names China head
UBS has made Simon Jin managing director and branch manager for Beijing – the Swiss bank's first branch in China, which opened on August 2. An unspecified FX staff member is also set to join him from one of UBS's global offices shortly, said a bank spokesperson. The new addition will join Jin's current staff of 12, including four wealth management and fixed-income dealers. The remainder are infrastructure support, compliance, finance, IT, operations and corporate services
