Cost of exceptions down 30%

The survey found that exception rates are falling as well as the cost of exceptions generated, both due to increased automation of processes. The survey covered both foreign exchange and securities trading, but found that FX trading generates comparatively lower levels of exceptions. FX exception rates are 3% of transactions compared with 5% of transactions for securities trading.
