FXpress switches architecture

The new capability comes as a result of FXpress’s switch to Microsoft’s flexible and open .Net architecture, a move made at the request of clients, said Jim Gilbert, director of business development at FXpress in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.

This follows signs that the application service provider model, where software is centrally hosted for remote distribution, is gaining traction within the industry, he added. "The remote offices of global clients are key to this."
