Derivatech develops structuring tool

The new tool, User Defined Markets (UDM), mixes and matches a range of components to create structures that would otherwise require custom development, said Howard Savery, senior vice-president of business development at Derivatech in New York.

Part of Derivatech’s dt Compass options software, UDM is currently in testing with one un-named global client, said Savery, who expects to roll it out at the beginning of next year.
