HSBC makes senior appointments

Stuart Gulliver has been named as head of global markets. Currently chief executive for investment banking and markets, Gulliver takes up the new post next month, and is set to move from Hong Kong to London in February.

Gulliver will be responsible for all the bank’s treasury and capital markets activities globally, reporting to Stephen Green, executive director of CIBM.

Tony Rademeyer becomes head of CIMB Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. He will continue in his current position of treasurer
