UN&M's Harlow Group Reports Steady Earnings Amid Industry Consolidation

LONDON--United News and Media (which includes brokers Harlow Butler in London, Harlow Meyer Savage in New York and Harlow Ueda in Tokyo) announced steady results last week, the second money broker to release year-end results.

United's Financial Services Division, which operates the Harlow Group, reports annual turnover for 1997 of £327.7 million ($199 million), down a slight 1 per cent from the £330.4 million ($193 million) last year. Exchange rates, supplied by Reuters, are from the closing
