Tigon Hires Three From BZW For New 'Fundamental' FX Fund

A London-based currency management company, Tigon Ltd., has hired three former Barclays de Zoete Wedd senior FX traders to run a new subsidiary focusing on "discretionary" fundamental trading of foreign exchange instead of the "systematic" trading that Tigon itself does.

Bill Boyes, head of marketing at Tigon, confirms that the company has hired Richard Hill, formerly head of proprietary trading at BZW, Simon Hogg, Hill's number two at BZW, and Martin Krattiger, formerly with Swiss Bank Corp. in
