Citi Reorganizes Spot Desk In N.Y. Almeida, Drucker, Romeo Upped

After reviewing the foreign exchange trading operation for several months, Citibank’s new foreign exchange manager, Richard Mahoney, has implemented several changes on Citi’s foreign exchange spot trading desk in New York.

Under the new structure, Dan Almeida, a Deutsche mark trader, will continue in that role, but will have the added responsibility of managing Citi’s European and EMS currency operations.

In addition, Barry Drucker, a yen trader, has been named to manage the high yielding
