ABN Amro Globalizes FX Options; Moves McGuire To Latin America

ABN Amro has decided to globalize its currency options book, appointing Amsterdam derivatives head Hans Lamme as global FX options chief, a signal that its FX options operation has recovered completely from its troubles with a rogue trader in 1992 (FXW, December 21, 1992).

Meanwhile, London treasurer Steven McGuire has been transferred to Sao Paulo as regional treasurer for Latin America and the Caribbean--no London replacement has yet been named.

According to Lamme, whose Amsterdam remit also
