HONG KONG--Asia Risk, sister publication to FXWeek, has released the results of its first survey of the top domestic forex banks in Asia, revealing how the local heroes aim to meet the challenge from their international counterparts.

"Foreign banks, these aggressive challengers warn, should watch their backs," says Ellen Leander, editor of Asia Risk. "For example, the Development Bank of Singapore (DBS), which has made no bones about its ambitious plan to evolve into an HSBC-like institution
