Tullett And Tokyo Earnings Slip But Turnover Up In First Half

Tullett and Tokyo Forex International Ltd., the London-based foreign exchange and money market broker, says that group profits for this year will fall below the 9.1 million pounds sterling net profit reported in 1989 if activity in world financial markets remains at about current levels for the rest of the year.

In the first half ended June, Tullett reported net earnings of 4.48 million pounds sterling on turnover of 78.42 million pounds sterling. In the year earlier period, earnings were 4.64
