Republic National Bank of New York's freshly acquired derivatives group has settled down well with the bank's regular trading group, and is already talking about expansion. In efforts to fill in the gap in Asia, managing director and head of the global derivatives group, Kenneth Sullivan, is making plans for a derivatives desk in Hong Kong, to complement the group's global book.
