Goldman Sachs wins currency analysis award

LONDON – Goldman Sachs was voted top in the latest currency analysis survey from Thomson Extel.

Goldman’s team, led by chief currency economist Jim O’Neill in London, beat off competition from Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan Chase to take the title, as voted by more than 586 fund management institutions worldwide.

Steve Kelly, head of the Thomson Extel Survey, said the award positions the team’s institution as a leading player in that market’s corporate activity.
