BHF Bank To Shift NY FX Trading To Frankfurt Via Late Shift Desk

Berliner Handels-und Frankfurter Bank (BHF) is building a second shift in Frankfurt to trade the afternoon and evening hours and will thereby close the New York FX operation and shift coverage of that time zone to Frankfurt, says an official.

BHF's board decided to move foreign exchange trading to Frankfurt and is setting up a desk in the new 104-position Frankfurt dealing room that will cover those New York hours. Once it is operational on September 1, the Frankfurt forex operation will be open
