Continental Bank Recruits Six Dealers To Bolster Foreign Exchange Trading

Continental Bank is expanding its foreign exchange operations by strengthening its trading and corporate sales staff. The Chicago-based bank also plans to expand the coverage of its currencies, according to managing director Al Jirkovsky.

Since September, the bank has hired six new dealers, three in the past month, for both the spot and corporate sales desks. Continental is among the top 20 U.S. banks ranked by foreign exchange and other trading revenues.
