Standard Chartered Boosts Sales By Hiring Team From Midland

Standard Chartered Bank in London is making a push in institutional sales, plucking a three-strong sales team from Midland Global Markets in London, according to treasurer Derek Saville. He says the bank has recruited Charles Boswell, head of business development at MGM, as its new regional head of sales and marketing for the U.K. and Europe. He brings with him Pete Davey and Wendy McKane, both senior dealers in institutional sales.
