Barclays Shifts Two FX Trading Desks Into Barclays De Zoete Wedd Division

As part of its ongoing efforts to reorganize, Barclays Bank has added the foreign exchange trading operations from two overseas branches to its Barclays de Zoete Wedd division (BZW), say bank officials. The trading activities in Paris and Sydney are now part of BZW, with managers for foreign exchange, fixed income, and money markets reporting to product heads based in London. As other overseas branches are reviewed, say officials, more may join that list.
