Guinness Mahon Plans Expansion Into Cross-Currency Trading

London-based merchant bank Guinness Mahon has hired a new chief dealer for its foreign exchange desk as part of a larger move into trading cross-currencies, say bank officials.

Guinness treasurer Peter Hill says he has hired David Barone, formerly chief dealer at Multibanco Comermex in London, to fill the same post at Guinness.
