StanChart Hires Lambden As The NatWest Era Ends

LONDON--Standard Chartered Bank has hired Roy Lambden from NatWest GFM to head global foreign exchange trading.

Lambden, formerly global head of short term interest-rate derivatives at NatWest GFM in London, left the bank during the integration of teams with Royal Bank of Scotland.

StanChart has created the role for Lambden. Previously, forex trading was managed by regional treasurers in the bank’s various centres.

Lambden joined NatWest in February 1995 from Commercial Imperial Bank of Canada
