Trevor Cass has been elected the new chairman of the British Bankers Association's foreign exchange committee. Cass, who is European treasury sales director at Barclays Bank, succeeds Tom Lockett, who retired as forex director of Midland Bank at the end of 1992.

LIFFE chief executive-designate Daniel Hodson has been elected president of the Association of Corporate Treasurers in London. He succeeds John Grout, group treasurer of Cadbury Schweppes. Other 1993 officers include Gareth Jones
