London Headhunters Expect Fall In 1994 Bonuses, More Layoffs

Headhunters and compensation consultants in London expect bonuses in the FX market to drop significantly this year when compared to the good year most traders had in 1994 -- and some say banks may well begin reducing staff. Although some banks have already announced or even paid bonuses, many traders are still awaiting the news, say headhunters.

"Things don't look too good right now," says one London recruiter. "I think people will definitely be shed. "Most banks are so far off their budgets
