Reuters Reports Transaction Services Grew By 24 Per Cent In First Half 1996

Reuters reports an 11 per cent improvement in its first-half revenues, to £1.438 million ($2.229 million), in a year-over-year comparison, while its transaction products range once again proved the fastest-growing product line, growing by 24 per cent for the period ended June 30.

Transaction products, which include Dealing 2000-1, Dealing 2000-2, Instinet and Globex, produced £405 million in revenues for the half-year period. However, this sector grew at a slightly slower pace (21 per cent)
