Major US banks are largely expected to show further evidence of a strong year in FX, when they begin releasing third quarter forex trading revenues this week, analysts predict.

Across-the-Board volatility continued to provide market opportunities during the period, say the analysts.

US banks should have reaped decent volumes in forex trading during the third quarter due to "a nice trending market" characterized by significant moves, particularly in the dollar/mark, mark/yen and sterling/mark
