Corporate treasurers prefer to deal with fewer banks -- TCA

LONDON -- Half of UK corporate treasurers want to reduce the number of banking relationships they have, according to a survey from IT consultancy TCA. Treasurers who want to reduce the number of banks they deal with say the banks fall into two categories: those that provide a full-service global FX and cash management offering, and secondly, those where the banks fill geographical or product niches.

The survey notes that corporates are not happy about being tied into banks’ proprietary
