Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, the trading arm of Deutsche Bank, has awarded a $2 million contract to Applix, which will supply its real-time spreadsheet product for use in all Deutsche Morgan Grenfell trading rooms, including FX and options, as part of its international standardisation programme, officials say.

The Unix-based spreadsheet will run on Deutsche Morgan Grenfell's modified version of Reuters' Triarch digital data distribution system.
