New FX head at Deutsche

LONDON -- Hal Herron is stepping down from his position as global head of foreign exchange at Deutsche Bank in London.

Herron, who has managed FX at the bank for four years, is leaving Deutsche, one of the world’s top-three forex banks, in February 2002 for a three-month sabbatical in his native Australia.

Current head of European FX, Jim Turley, will take over the top forex job in December. An internal memo from Anshu Jain, head of global markets at Deutsche, said external candidates were not
