Sanwa Bank In Japan Delays Launch Of Online FX Trading By Six Months

TOKYO--Sanwa Bank has delayed the launch of its internet trading service for foreign exchange.

The service is set for launch in October--having missed the March launch date the bank announced in January.

At that time Sanwa said its service--which is being developed with Reuters--would be the first internet trading service for foreign exchange to be offered by a Japanese bank.

But the delay means Fuji Bank is likely to be the first with its system, which is on target for launch this month--and
