Chase Clarifies FX Trading Figures In Adamson Statement To FX Week

Chase Manhattan Bank's senior vice president and global foreign exchange executive, David Adamson, is requesting clarification of the numbers reported in FX Week's October 23 edition regarding its foreign exchange trading revenues.
Chase's FX revenues, as reported in the bank's quarterly earnings report, were reported in FX Week as $45 million for the third quarter, which excludes net interest revenue (NIR). Chase officials say this number includes translation/devaluation on Latin American
