BARCLAYS LOSES GLOBAL FX HEAD

, global head of FX at Barclays Capital in London, left the bank last week.

A spokesperson at the bank told FX Week that Thrush was returning to Canada for personal reasons, and a replacement for his role has not been named.

Thrush, a veteran of the currency markets, has worked at some of the top banks in FX. He joined Barclays in 1996 as global head of FX for the former Barclays de Zoete Wedd (FX Week, November 18, 1996).

He was nabbed from NationsBank
