Bankers Trust reports foreign exchange revenues for the year ended December 31, 1997 of $277 million, a 56 per cent increase from the $178 million reported for 1996. The figures represent revenues from foreign exchange and currency related derivatives, such as swaps, options and other types of contracts, and also include related earnings from other subsidiaries within the holding company.
