Chase Names Top FX Managers In Morgan Merger

New York--JP Morgan Chase & Co, the bank formed by US investment bank Chase Manhattan’s $35 billion takeover of JP Morgan, has named an equal split of Chase/Morgan managers in the top FX jobs.

Recruiters in London say the move may mean Chase will retain more FX staff from the JP Morgan side than they had previously expected. Chase’s role as the senior partner in the takeover deal -- together with its larger FX group -- had led recruiters to think any job cuts would probably come from the Morgan
