StanChart Makes High Profile Hires In EMS Trading, FX Options Sales

Standard Chartered Bank is on the point of hiring a new head of FX options sales and marketing for Europe and North America, according to global options chief Alan Hicks. The bank, which is rapidly expanding its FX franchise from Asian and exotics to the major currencies, has also recently poached Crédit Suisse London chief dealer Paul Tew to head its EMS currency desk.
