Lehman’s FX Success Boosts Fixed-Income Revenue

NEW YORK -- Lehman Brothers’ recent growth in FX has helped the bank to a 138 per cent year-on-year increase in fixed-income revenues for the third quarter, a senior official has told FX Week.

Lehman Brothers reports fixed-income trading revenue of $557 million for the three months ending August 31. For last year’s third quarter, revenues were $234 million.
