Dow Jones Telerate Hosts Exotic Currencies Conference

Speakers at the Dow Jones Telerate conference in London this month singled out the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Russia as the "hottest" countries in Eastern Europe--although the Czech koruna proved to be the most widely traded exotic currency in the region.

The development of Eastern European exotic currencies was the theme of the day-long session, which drew about 185 attendees and featured such prominent speakers as David Simmonds of Citibank, Grzegorz Bialek of Bank Handlowy W Warszawie
