Bank of America staff set for return to Manhattan

NEW YORK – Back office treasury staff at Bank of America will return to Manhattan in mid-2002, following the bank’s new lease agreement signed last week.

The 400 staff members, in global treasury and securities, will occupy two floors in a midtown retail complex at 100 West 33rd Street, a spokesperson for Bank of America in New York told FX Week.

They have been working at the bank’s back-up centre in New Jersey since the World Trade Center attacks which destroyed Bank of America’s
