As part of an overall revamping of its Asian treasury strategy, National Westminster Bank scored a hat trick last month with the hiring of David Lau from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce as its new treasurer for South Asia (FXW, March 20). Lau is the third of CIBC's three former regional treasury and capital markets directors that NatWest has hired in the past six months.
