Reuters Plans D2000-2 Forwards Service, While Similar EBS Product A Year Away

Reuters has started beta testing its Reuters Dealing 2000-2 Forwards automated matching service after a successful in-house testing phase, says Ros Wilton, managing director for transaction products, with corporate global responsibility for risk management products. The forwards service will be previewed at this week's World Forex '97 congress in Toronto along with Deal Tracker, which has also begun beta testing.

Reuters' entering of beta testing means it is well ahead of its main rival
