UBS Names Schwitter Global FX Head In Product-Line Reorganisation Move

Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) has moved forward with its reorganisation along global product lines by promoting European treasury and capital markets director Daniel Schwitter to head global foreign exchange, reporting to global trading and sales head Mathis Cabiallavetta. Schwitter says that FX is the second product at the bank to go global -- the change in derivatives took place last year, but bonds and equities are still organised regionally, he says.
