Royal Bank of Canada in London has hired Sophie Colaye of Brandeis Ltd., a London commodities subsidiary of French metals giant Pechiney, to start a forex night desk at the bank, treasury director Martin Klingsick confirms. Colaye, who has been serving FX clients on call on a 24-hour basis, starts February 1, he says.
