Direct Deal Notification Due For 1998 Release, Could Aid Brokers' Penetration Of The Market

The Direct Deal Notification (DDN) intranet, a network currently being piloted in London that will improve the speed and accuracy of transacting business through voice brokers, should be operational in the first half of 1998 in London and New York, say sources.

DDN combines the efforts of four money brokers: Harlow Butler, Tullett & Tokyo Forex International, MW Marshall & Co and Exco.
