The Chicago Mercantile Exchange's (CME) currency futures and options average daily volume for the month of October was 71,624 and 33,811 contracts, respectively. Average daily volume for both contracts was down from the previous month and from October 1994. Average daily volume during October was 117,998 futures contracts and 47,517 options contracts. In October 1994, average daily volume for futures was 98,385 and for options was 39,525 contracts.
