Bank of Boston has installed an integrated combination of two software packages for currency options support at its new 114-position trading room in Boston. The two packages, Zainet Software's foreign exchange system and Astrogamma's Fenics, are being used for pricing, risk-management and processing of FX options.

The combination replaces Sungard Capital Markets' Devon Derivatives System. Both Zainet and Fenics run on Sun Microsystems' hardware, say officials. The bank's own technical staff
