IFS Merges MarginMan And GATE

DUBLIN -- Internet trading software developer International Financial Solutions (IFS), has launched MarginMan-Gate. The web-trading product combines IFS’ risk management system, MarginMan, and Dene’s Global Automated Trading Engine (Gate). IFS bought software company Dene International in November 2000 for $21 million.

The system will enable banks to offer real-time automated collateralised FX trading, allowing clients to execute large trades using less collateral, says a spokesperson at IFS
