Royal Bank of Scotland in London has hired Mark Suter from Banque Paribas in London, bank officials confirm. Suter has been named head of currency options trading for the bank, an area in which officials say RBS is looking to raise its profile. Chief options dealer Jim Attfield will be reporting to Suter, who was briefly head of bond options sales at Paribas. Prior to that, he headed FX trading at the French bank's London branch.
