Cognotec still leads the field for automated dealing

For the fourth year since the category was introduced in 1998, Cognotec has taken the award for best automated dealing technology.

And in a year of much change in the field, with banks investing not only in their own proprietary systems but also in multi-bank trading portals, the firm has focused on helping banks connect to portals, as well as helping them develop their own e-trading strategies, said Cognotec chairman, Brian Maccaba.
