Prebon Yamane Opens London Options Desk; Expected To Add Options In New York Soon

Add Prebon Yamane's name to the list of brokers hanging out a shingle in currency options. The foreign exchange and money market broker opened a currency options desk in London last week and is planning to open a currency options desk in New York soon, officials there confirm.
Prebon joins Cantor Fitzgerald, one of the largest governments securities brokers, in attempting to wrest business away from the FX options brokers already well entrenched in London. Cantor is set to open its currency
