• John Holloway, deputy treasurer at Belgian Fortis Bank in London left the bank in September. He left the markets to pursue other interests.

Fortis Bank was formed by the merger between Dutch banking group MeesPierson, and Belgian Générale Bank, which was completed in June 2000. Holloway was previously head of treasury at MeesPierson. Chris Wilkins, previously head of treasury at Générale Bank remains head of treasury at Fortis for the combined treasury team of 17.
