NEW YORK--Prebon Yamane last week named Richard Higgs as head of its foreign exchange division.

Higgs has been at Prebon for four years, and is widely credited with establishing the firm’s FX presence. Higgs, who is based in New Jersey, has overall responsibility for the performance of the firm’s foreign exchange division. He reports directly to Keith Miles, president of Prebon Yamane Americas.
